A new school business manager is sought to play a key role in the continued success of the school.

With a recent new building and additional capital expenditure projects on the horizon, this will be an interesting time to join the school where you will be part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Headteacher. There is a strong support network within the school services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on finance, budgeting, and resource management to ensure sustainability and value for money

• HR administration, payroll, and staff contracts in partnership with the leadership team

• Oversee premises, health & safety, and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment

• Take responsibility for procurement, contracts and compliance with statutory requirements

• Support governance and reporting, providing accurate data and insight to guide decision-making

• Build strong relationships with staff, parents and external partners

Applications are sought from experienced school business managers, with confidence in working with budgets, reports and strategic plans. You’ll be organised and detail-oriented, happy to seek and embrace improvements across a wide range of school areas, from data and reporting, through to generating income and working with wider community figures.
