About the Role

My client is a well-regarded East London School, looking to appoint an experienced Data & Reporting Manager to join their experienced support staff. This is a impactful role sitting at the heart of school operations; one where your expertise will be relied upon by senior leadership, governors and teaching staff alike. Our client is a school that takes its data seriously, investing in the right systems and the right people to ensure information drives improvement rather than just filling in forms.

Day to day, you will own and administer the school's MIS platforms, managing data integrity, producing high-quality reports on attendance, attainment, behaviour and progress and ensuring all statutory returns are completed accurately and on time. You will produce in-year analysis reports, oversee assessment templates and report layouts and use all sources of data to enhance senior decisions Beyond this, you will provide direct support and internal training to staff, assist with exam management and ensure all data handling meets GDPR and records retention requirements throughout.

Candidates must bring proven, hands-on experience of working with both SIMS and Arbor and beyond the systems, a genuine understanding of the school data necessities, from statutory requirements and a knowhow of what good data and reporting within school should look like. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, alongside strong communication skills to make complex data accessible to non-technical colleagues are all essential. There is an immediate start on offer with this role and it would be hugely beneficial for candidates on minimal or with no notice to serve.
